Got A Game Idea?
So, you have an idea for a Board Game, Wargame, Roleplaying Game, CCG..
Now what do you do...?
Most game and hobby publishers and manufacturers will not accept unsolicited idea submissions from the general public...! But we are different, we relish hearing from everyone. Know this... you have come to the right place, because we are the link between you the Inventor and the buying public. We are always on the lookout for exciting new designers to add to our roster of successful game producers.
First off, send us an email telling us you have an idea you would like to submit for consideration that includes a one paragraph summary of what it is that you have for submission. This is so that we can send you a Submission Review Form so that we can get your permission to see your idea in more depth and also protect your rights for you.
Once we send you the SRF and get it back, then read on to find out what we need from you and we look forward to reviewing your idea soon...!
A Written synopsis of your idea detailing all you can about the age group, length of time to play, rules, and maybe any special components that are needed. We DO NOT require finished prototypes. Simple, clear illustrations will be more than enough... (We know a good idea without the need for impressive artwork or models!)
Please DO NOT send anything of value! If you do have a prototype you wish us to see, send or email us the rules with some clear photographs first! If we like the idea we will then request you send us your prototype... or we will invite you to our offices!
Make Sure you copyright all material before you send anything to us. You can do this by simply sending a copy of the rules (along with any photographs) to yourself via Certified Mail, make certain to keep the envelope you mail back to yourself sealed though since this is how you maintain the validity of your copyright evidence.
If we believe your idea has the makings of the next big crowd pleaser. We will invite you to a meeting (in person, online, or by phone; whichever is more convenient for you) where we can then discuss all the possible ways forward. Many ideas we take forward need to be re-designed to ensure quality, playability, and to fit in with retailers requirements.
We Aim to respond to all submissions within two to four weeks. However due to the amount of inquiries we receive, there may at times be a delay. If so we ask for your patience and request you call or email us to ask.
